1. What you need to do is remember the top card, don’t make it obvious though if you’re trying to peek on the top card.
2 & 3. Then riffle the deck using your thumb and tell him to say stop it doesn’t matter where you stopped.
4. Then cut the deck where you stopped. NOTE: [hold the lower pile using your left hand and also grab a hold of the top card of the top pile using your left hand’s finger just put your left thumb between the 2 piles]. See pictures below.
5. Then take the top pile away with your right hand without him noticing that you’re sliding the top card on the pile below. Do it fast and angular so that he wouldn’t notice.
6. Have him pick the card he stopped at. Making it look like it came from the middle, but you already know it’s the ace of heart. Now it’s all up to your acting how are you supposed to guess the card.
