Squiggly Lines

At first when I saw this illusion, I was thinking... what the heck is this? That's a pretty funky illusion, and I'm not sure what it's supposed to be. Well, at first, you'll notcice that the vertical lines are pretty messed up. But then as you look at it longer, the thicker black lines will start to look like walls in a room, and the white square will appear to be very far away.
