COIN MATRIX
1. Prepare 4 coins and 4 cards. Position the coins like this. See pictures below.
2 & 3. Then put each card on top of it one at a time. The first time you’re going to put a card on top of the 1st coin, steal it! Say it’s in the upper left. Hide it underneath the 3 cards you’re holding. See pictures below.
4. Then put another card on the 2nd coin. Say the upper right
5, 6 & 7. Then put the remaining cards on each coin. Remember you must have the card with the stolen coin at your right hand so when you put that card down just leave the coin there along with the other coin. Say it’s the lower left. See pictures below.
8 & 9. Pick up two cards one with the stolen coin (the lower left part) and one on the upper right. Grab the stolen coin, showing him that both cards have one coin each.
10, 11,12 & 13. Drop the cards; pick it up again, but this time you won’t grab the stolen coin instead you’ll pick the other coin with the other card. (the upper right part) then drop the card without a coin in it and then transfer the card in your other hand.
14. Pick up another card (Say it’s the lower right part) show him the coin underneath it.
15, 16 & 17. Drop the two cards unloading the coin in your right hand and picking up the coin in your left hand (the lower right part). Now you have the coin in your left hand. See pictures below.
18 & 19. Now this time you’ll cover the 3 coins with your left hand to unload the coin underneath that card. Thenjust drop the coin and pick up the two cards. Remember you don’t have a coin underneath the upper left card because you already stole it in the very beginning.
20. Show him the coins and also the cards for him to know that you don’t have an extra coin.
