1 & 2. Prepare 2 decks of different color and 2 card of the same suit and value. Place it on top of each deck.
3. Let him choose what deck he likes, it doesn’t matter [say he chose the red deck].
4. Have him pick any card in the red deck. NOTE: He must not look at it. While he’s doing that cut your deck in half, but make a break in your ace of spades DON”T LOOSE IT!
5. Then tell him to put his card on top, and then pretend that you’re also picking a card, but you're spreading the cards only until you reach the ace of spade then pick it up. TIP: [don’t stop at the ace of spade when spreading the card pretend that you’re still trying to pick a card just to make it natural].
6 & 7. Then put it on top! Ask him that you’ll exchange deck
8. And both of you will turn the card over at the same time. TIP: [have a break on the top 2 cards for preparation of double lift].
9. then both of you turn the card over.
VARIANT: [on No. 4 just in case he chose the card on top, you don’t need to double lift anymore on the last part, because it’s already the ace of spade, that will make the trick easier and impromptu].
