1. Prepare a deck of card with 1 card facing up at the bottom.
2. Have the spectator pick any card.
3. [Say he picked the 8 of heart, but you’re not supposed to know it]. But while he’s looking at the card turn your deck over without him noticing it. See pictures below. NOTE: [what we did is making it look like the entire card is still facing down].
4. Then have him insert his card facing down somewhere in the middle, now we have 2 faced down cards, the one on top and his chosen card.
5 & 6. Now do a “COLOR CHANGE TRICK” switching the top card on the one below it. (See Color Change Tutorial under Card Magic)
7. Now tell him that the entire card is now facing up, and only one card facing down, which is his card.
8. Spread the cards over until you see one card facing down. NOTE: [do not spread the few cards on top widely, because it might reveal the 2nd card that is facing down. Be careful with it. Hold it with your thumb while spreading].
9. Now turn all the cards over to reveal his card or you can just let him take the card out.
